This research project for a series of videos and live performances started before COVID and was interrupted in the first week of lockdown in San Francisco.
It is about brutal exploitation, alienation, and an ever-eroding sense of social connectedness and safety. In this series sexual markets and paid emotional labor are both a metaphor and critique to the art world practices and the gig and employment culture in general.
